On July 11, 2012, the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center website, www.gotmine.com, was updated with information on the recently proposed expansion which includes the addition of two parking garages (3,500 stalls), a 15,000 to 20,000 seat arena complex, and repurposing of the Don Barnett Arena.
Visitors to the website can browse through the information that was presented at the City Council meeting on July 9th, which currently includes: Economic Impact Study, Economic Impact Presentation, Civic Center Expansion Video, Expansion Photos, and the Fly by Rendering of Expansion Project. The website will continued to be updated regularly as the proposed project moves forward to include Frequently Asked Questions, Project Updates, Vision Fund Projections, and all other important information as it becomes available.
